What happens at a meeting of The Rotary Club of Chigwell
The format of a Rotary meeting is that after Rotary Grace, the President opens the meeting with a small amount of Club Business, we then have our meal. After the ‘Loyal Toast’ and after coffee on three meetings out of four we have a speaker who addresses us for about 30 minutes, and on the fourth meeting we have a dedicated business meeting where we arrange various club activities e.g. Money raising for charities, help for deserving people, social events for the club, the state of the Club’s finances etc. After ‘any other business’ the President then closes the meeting.
