Vocational Service is some times a very difficult subject to describe. In essence, it means service through one's occupation or profession. It can be as varied as the organizing of trips to large companies for either the Rotary members, or young peple, or arranging for young school leavers to have a 'Mock Interview'. These interviews are organized at the pupil's school, and take the form of a job interview conducted by our club's businessmen/women to advise the pupil on how to present him/her self at an important interview, how to dress, how to behave etc.

Community Service explains itself. We work and raise money to help the community both for the young & old.  We organize a  Blood Pressure and Stroke Awareness days, this year it was held at Manford Way on the 28th of April and it went very well. Abut 65 people had their blood pressures checked, and Stroke Awareness leaflets were distributed to passersby. A cheque for £200 was handed over to St John Ambulance who helped us on the day.
