Rtn. Ken Heathfield who will celebrate his 92nd birthday in March, appears to be getting stronger each day. He and his beloved wife Dorothy have now moved from their home in Loughton to Harts Residential Home, on Woodford Green. However he is still able to visit the NADFAS lectures and has been going out for the occasional meal.
Members are requested to try to contact Ken, and pop round to see him for a chat.
We mustn't forget that Rtn. Paddy Hagerty, our Welfare Secretary himself is in his 82nd year, and apart from experiencing a little deafness now appears as fit as a person 20 years is junior.
