Fellowship Weekend
Our ‘Fellowship Weekend 2012′ took place in Liverpool. Our then President, Pam, (Now our Immediate Past-President) worked very hard to plan an exciting program for all the Rotarians and their partners so that we made the most of our stay in this very exciting city.
For those who wanted to, Pam arranged for the group to travel to Liverpool by train, our hotel was situated just about 10 minutes from Lime Street Station. The first full day in Liverpool was spent walking around the famous sites The Liver Building and the Waterfront, the old docks which have now been completely modernised where there were the Tate Modern, tributes to The Beatles, some really unusual gift shops and restaurants. The second day was spent touring the Peak District and Buxton. The weather could have been better but it wasn’t so bad that it stopped us walking around looking at the beautiful scenery.
